Description

I do a lot of walking around the Launceston Cataract Gorge & there are a few peacocks just walking around the place. Today I was lucky enough for them to let me get close & take this photo. It's a shame I only a point & shoot camera, the tail is a little bit out of focus because of the slower shutter speed but I like it none the less.

Very nice. I like how the sunlight dapples the tail and adds to the peacock spots. I think it highlights the aqua color in the one spot very well, almost like making your darks dark enough for the white to pop in graphite.
